When live performances and touring disappeared virtually overnight in March 2020, many musicians found themselves with huge holes in their schedule (not to mention their income). While respecting the stay-at-home orders issued by governments around the world, musicians have been relegated to recording music from home as their main resource for creation and collaboration. SAHR is the most comprehensive collection of musicians that have been assembled to collaborate in this way, featuring a revolving roster of over 100 musicians spanning multiple continents. Each week, a "band" is formed: four musicians (many of whom have never met each other) contribute towards an original 60-second piece of music. The band members are re-organized each week, rarely playing with the same musicians twice. SAHR was born on Instagram, but has now expanded to YouTube to reach a broader audience. Additionally, all the music will soon be available on all major digital platforms. SAHR is an illustration of how the spirit of music will always find a way to inspire the human consciousness.
