The Pip Jones Project - “Easy” (Live Session)

The Format

This Project has led me to take on the role of producer and creative director to bring the songs I have written to life, through live band recording sessions. This has been a huge opportunity to not only apply the knowledge, tips and tricks I have gained throughout my studies, but also test my skills and quick thinking in context of a studio. Learning to trust the process but also go with the flow has been a big challenge to overcome as I learnt to believe in the skills I have acquired, however I continued to learn along the way. Working with an amazing team made this process so much fun and it was great to have everyone on board with my visions. The format of a live recording has allowed me to embrace the imperfections as well as enabling me to capture the energy and vibes of the band while recording and brining the songs to life. My pieces and rearrangements consist of a fresh sound using elements of RnB, contemporary jazz and a little funk at times, resulting in strong grooves that make you want to dance. My name is Pip Jones and I’m about more than just music.  Instagram: @ pip.jones21
