Math-rock band TTNG live at the experimental and post-rock festival bergmal 2017. TTNG, existing since 2004, released their current album as a trio for the first time – but despite the reduction in numbers, they did not lose a tad of their intensity. The paradoxical album title – Disappointment Island, unaffectedly situated in the beautiful Pacific Ocean – says it all: The Oxford band converges on pop elements but stays with complex accentuation and asymmetrical timing. After sold-out shows back home in UK, North America and concerts all over Australia and Japan, TTNG will play in Zurich for the first time at bergmal 2017!
About TTNG
TTNG are a British math rock band from Oxford, formed in 2002, and currently signed to the American label Sargent House Records. Following numerous departures, the band went from being a four-piece to a trio, featuring Henry Tremain on bass and lead vocals, Tim Collis on guitar and his brother Chris Collis on drums.
