LOLLAR PICKUPS - Shop Sessions Episode 5: Jimmy James and Bryant Moore

Jimmy James
1960s1966Studioyoutube

On this episode of Studio Sessions, we welcome guitarist Jimmy James and bassist Bryant Moore into the shop to jam. Read more about them and find links to the Lollar pickups that they played in this session below. *About the players...* *Jimmy James* Jimmy James (AKA Jabrille Williams) is a Seattle-based guitarist whose soulful playing harkens back to the greats of blues, funk, R&B, and more. You can hear the influence but you can't quite pin it down, making his playing sound classic and new at the same time. Jimmy is a staple in the PNW music scene. Playing in groups such as True Loves, Parlor Greens, The Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, and more; he's one of the hardest working guitarists around. In this video, Jimmy plays a Lollar S-style guitar with a set of custom Lollar Strat pickups into a 1966 Fender Vibrolux Reverb. *Bryant Moore* Bryant Moore is a multi-talented musician and producer who has lent his skills on bass, guitar, horns, keys, vocals and producer for tons of acts. He is also a member, alongside Jimmy James, in True Loves, as well as Sneaky Thieves. His ability to hold down an air-tight rhythm section without being boxed into root notes or walking on the other instruments in an arrangement makes him stand out from the crowd. Bryant can be seen playing a Roscoe J-style bass with Lollar DC J-Bass pickups into a Fender Rumble 500 amp. *Product links:* Lollar DC J-Bass - https://www.lollarguitars.com/dc-j-bass
