Silvio-West Palm-Sonny Rhodes Hall of Fame Induction-"Walkin in my Shadow-Joe Bonamassa"
On April 13th, 2013 in Windsor, ON the West Palm band had the honor to play for the Canadian Blues Society-Southern Chapter in the hall of fame induction ceremony of blues legend Sonny Rhodes backed by the blues legend Johnny V Trio band. Sadly Johnny V passed suddenly on March 31/13. It was a bittersweet night with feelings of happiness and sadness. The band members Silvio Campanaro, Christian Vegh, Ryley Demers were very professional and respectful in honoring of both blues legends
About Sonny Rhodes
Clarence Smith, known as Sonny Rhodes, was an American blues singer and lap steel guitar player. He recorded over two hundred songs. "I'm what you call a self-proclaimed Disciple of the Blues!" said Rhodes about his years playing and singing for fans of blues around the world. He was nominated 15 times for Blues Music Awards and won in the category 'Instrumentalist – Other' in 2011.
