Hal Willis Sings 'The Lumberjack.'

A number 5 hit in 1964 for Hal. Probably largely forgotten as it never appears on Country compilations, it is nevertheless a happy-go-luck tune that would have been ideal for Roger Miller who had just started to take off big time in the US when this song was a hit. Strangely, this record recieved very heavy airplay on one of the UK's pirate radio stations which was when I first heard it.
