Tommy Ferguson - Something Bad On My Mind (1969 New Zealand Soul)

Fresh out of psychedelic band The Brew, Tommy joins the Mojo nightclub resident band with allstars Bruno Lawrence, Claude Papesch and Dave Russell in 1968. In 1969, Tommy and the band flip this slow jam into a monster Soul hit with tweaked effects and tight musicianship. I wonder if it is the same band members? Tommy goes on to land a contract with TV show C'Mon, Happen Inn and can still sing a house down at 81.
