QWER Can’t Get Rid Of Their Past!?

A controversial girl group has sparked a heavy debate amongst netizens after they performed on M Countdown for the first time. The girl band QWER has been receiving criticism from netizens since they debuted towards the end of 2023 and the group consists of Hina, Magenta, Chodan, and Siyeon. Before the group’s debut, all of the members had already established their presence online. Chodan who is 26 and Magenta who is 28 were Twitch streamers, Siyeon who is 25 was a member of the Japanese girl group NMB48, and Hina was a content creator on TikTok. This is QWER’s first performance on M Countdown despite the group having been active for almost 2 years and it has not been well received by most netizens. The group has received criticism in the past due to the anti feminist comments Chodan previously made and because of Siyeon’s problematic views on marriage and having children. While others dislike the sexy image that the members have because of the type of content they released before their debut.
