Derek Hilland Piano Solo

Piano Solo I did each night with Iron Butterfly from the early 90's on. Excuse the audio hiss (came from VHS tape) and strange graphics! I think the house video guy was trying to be a hippy since it was an IB show. It's the only copy I know of. If someone else has a different performance, send it to me! Any way, it was a blast to play and thank you to the guys for letting me have some fun...though I played entirely too many notes! I wrote this piece when I was 21. Someone needed to hear me play some piano on my demo tape (remember those?) so I wrote this in a few days and sent it out. I stole the last bass line from Keith Emerson (Take A Pebble) Shhhh! David Coverdale called it my "Wakeman bit" haha Originally it was all piano and a bit longer. Oh and yes I'm really playing everything. I'm not sure I even know how to use a sequencer! There are just enough mistakes so you know it's real and of course that's the only reason I made them! Hope you enjoy listening to it half as much as I did playing it. DH
