Ingar Zach / hiddenbell Percussion Nights
Ingar Zach Ingar Zach is a prominent researcher in sound production and innovative techniques in contemporary percussion, notably using the Gran Cassa as his primary sound source. He explores sound through transducers and various objects, creating unique vibrations. Zach actively records and tours internationally with ensembles such as Dans les arbres, Fear Of The Object, Re-Membrane and with Michele Rabbia, while also focusing on solo and collaborative projects. Recently, he has composed for groups like Ensemble MusikFabrik and Quatuor Bozzini. His solo work spans multiple genres, including film and dance. His solo album, Musica Liquida, won the Edvard prize for Contemporary Music in 2023. Zach employs highly personal gestures in his performances, utilizing diverse techniques beyond mere striking.
