A rare live performance from the earlier days of The Emotions, featuring one of the band’s historical frontmen and lead vocalists, David Kersh, performing “It’s Not the End of the World.” This song holds a special place in the band’s history. It was originally planned to be David’s first single on Curb Records in Nashville, but Emilio released it first. This performance captures The Emotions’ original version of the song, before David later went on to release “Goodnight Sweetheart” as his first official single. This year also marks the 50th Anniversary of The Emotions — celebrating five decades of live music, memories, and Texas music history. To honor this milestone, The Emotions will be hosting and performing a special 50 Year Celebration Event in Shiner, Texas at the Spoetzl Brewery, also known as Shiner Brewery, on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
