Johnnie Kallas Shares Rare Jazz Recordings

1960s1969RareLiveyoutube

Johnnie Kallas was a jazz fan, among many other things. This video is an "audio only" file of one of the many sessions he held at home, with many friends commenting on the rare recordings he shared from his 1000+ record collection. His son, Steve John Kallas, inherited this treasure trove of jazz history, recorded live in Manhattan. This particular recording was made in August, 1969. Enjoy.
