About Rehearsal Footage
Rehearsal footage captures music in its rawest form — before the performance is polished, before the audience arrives, before anyone is watching. These clips often reveal how arrangements evolved, how musicians communicated, and how the versions we know were shaped through trial and error. Some of the most fascinating footage in the archive is of bands working through songs that would become classics.
About The Sweet Inspirations
The Sweet Inspirations are an American R&B girl group from Newark, New Jersey, founded by American singer Cissy Houston. The group was mostly known for their work as backup singers on studio recordings for other popular music artists but were also a relatively successful group in their own right, earning several charted singles between 1967 and 1970.
