About Interview Footage
Interviews reveal the person behind the music — their influences, creative process, frustrations, and ambitions. The best music interviews are the candid ones: a backstage chat after a difficult show, a late-night radio session, or a press conference where the artist drops their guard. These clips capture musicians in their own words, often more revealing than any biography.
About The B-52s
The B-52s are an American rock band formed in Athens, Georgia, in 1976. The original lineup consisted of Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson, Cindy Wilson, Ricky Wilson, and Keith Strickland. Ricky Wilson died of AIDS-related illness in 1985, and Strickland permanently switched from drums to lead guitar. The band has also added various auxiliary members for albums and live performances.
