Ian Dawson Tyson was a Canadian singer-songwriter who wrote many folk and cowboy songs, including "Four Strong Winds" and "Someday Soon", and performed with partner Sylvia Tyson as the duo Ian & Sylvia. as well as a solo act after the duo split up in 1975.
