As Wham! disbanded in 1986, George Michael embarked on a successful solo career, releasing his debut studio album Faith (1987). This critically acclaimed album catapulted him to global stardom, selling over 25 million copies worldwide and earning the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. A clip from DeepCutsArchive's collection captures the essence of this era with Michael's performance of "Faith" at the 1988 MTV Video Music Awards.
