Angela Laverne Brown (born December 18, 1961, Columbia, South Carolina; died March 1, 2025, Montgomery, Alabama in a car crash) was an American recording artist, producer, and actress. Stone has been nominated for three Grammy Awards. She has been most successful on the R&B charts, with four top 10 albums, including a number one, and 10 singles, including a top 10. Former wife of Rodney Stone. Mother of Diamond Stone and Michael D'Angelo Archer II aka Swayvo Twain.
